Presidents Awards have been discontinued.

This award program is rather unique in that it identifies and recognizes a single
individual in each user group who has excelled in the service of the group.
Who will be Honored?
This honor will be given to ALL Nominees, based on the President's recommendation,
and that of the confirming representatives, members, or officers of the group.
__ Each nominee/winner will be recognized with an award
to be presented locally at the group's meeting, and announced to the local news media.
Each nominee/winner will also be publicly recognized in the User Group Academy website.
These recognitions become a permanent record of that individual's accomplishment.
ONE global Nominee will then be selected by the Academy to receive a GRAND award,
which will be presented at the UG ACADEMY AWARDS EVENT.
How to Nominate a UG Member for a President's Award

- 1. Identification
- All Presidents of non-profit organizations are hereby called upon to identify
that outstanding member who deserves both local group recognition, and national recognition.
__ Presidents may use appropriate methods to identify
this individual through group elections, comments from other members or officers,
or simply by the individuals performance.
__ Take a moment and ask which member of your organization
contributed the most. Who made the most sacrifices... served the general membership
unselfishly.

- 2. Notification
- After the individual is identified, the President, or Officer Representative
of the group should notify the User Group Academy of the award candidate. This will
require affidavits from one other officer, and a UG member at large.
__ The Academy will follow up with the President and
confirming members for additional details and a more complete profile of the winner.

- 3. Presentation
- An Award package will be shipped to the UG President for presentation at a decided
upon meeting. The package will include the citation, the award, and/or prizes and
gifts.

- 4. Publication
- After the actual award ceremony, the President will send a photo from the event,
(if available) and the story will be published in the UG Academy Presidents Award
gallery.
