We'll never miss another home run...

__ Two happy 9th graders no longer have to worry about recording and administrating the 9th grade and junior varsity sports statistics on paper!
__ Usualy stats have to be written by hand, and transcribed into the computer later -- now they have instant stats right there on the field, using one of the new iBook notebook computers purchased for Dulaney High School through The User Group Academy Grants program.

How does this help teachers teach?

__ Easy: now the teacher concentrates on what the data means, and how to manipulate it rather than getting it keyboarded into a computer.
__ Neither city nor country school board regulations allow Dulaney to purchase "portable" equipment using municipal funds. Through the UGAcademy Grant, teachers at Dulaney High School have "loaner" iBooksthat take training, data, and presentation information from lab to home, from home to classroom, from classroom to auditorium.

When we asked "How do you like it?" we got two simple answers:
"What do you think?" and "It's awesome."

overheard Faculty comment:
"Don't know how we got along without it!"
