Individualized Education Program

Education Program for each special education child. Most importantly, the group would
call upon experts within the membership to donate their time developing the software,

__ Upon arrival we were greeted at the gates of Kittridge
school by Rosalie Bell, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist, for District C of the school
system. Arrival at Kittridge was in itself, for me, a wake-up call for our public
K-12 schools. The scene was a well used, graffiti stricken facility, encaged and
subdivided by chain-link fence with pad-locked gates. This particular school is located
in one of the county's more poverty-stricken areas, where 99% of the children are
second language speaking, and 100% are enrolled in the free lunch program. To say
the least: a severe contrast to my local K-12 schools in Virginia's rolling, rural
piedmont region.
