Newsletter & Magazine Award Specifications These are the specifications for those User Groups entering the UG Newsletter and Magazine Awards program. PRINT this page for your reference. We assume you have read, saved or downloaded the "General Rules & Nominations" document. A newsletter is any publication sent on a regular periodic basis which consists of not more than 24 pages, not less than one page, two sides -- and is printed on non-coated grade of paper. Newsletters are generally not printed in 4-color throughout. A Magazine is any publication sent on a regular periodic basis which consists of no less than 24 pages, and is printed primarily on coated paper, with a separate coated stock cover. Magazines generally contain 4-color printing in locations other than the cover. You must indicate "Newsletter" or "Magazine" in your entry below. Each entry must include four (4) complete copies of the specific publication being entered. A print of THIS entry form must be attached to the back of EACH copy. (NOTE: Judges reserve the right to change classifications.
